DO NOT FORGET — Next Tuesday, September 18th, will be “Special Guest Day” at Business Power Network. This is your chance to bring that extra-special someone who has meant the most to your business with regards to BPN and BNI. We are not recruiting for new members here; the person you bring can be ANYONE:
– Your boss: Maybe they’ve been paying the bill for your BNI membership (or NOT paying the bill, as the case may be), yet have never been to a meeting, or “just don’t get why you go to those meetings every week.” Now is the chance to show them why!
– Your sub: Has somebody from your office filled in for you on several occasions? Or is it someone from another BNI chapter, or just someone you have a good relationship with? Bring ’em to the meeting and thank them in person, and let them know that we appreciate them just as much as you do.
– Your client: Is there someone who has repeatedly been referred to you through BNI? Or maybe just referred once, but did a large amount of business, that you would otherwise never have received? Thank them by inviting them to lunch, on us!
– Your spouse or SO: Most small businesses wouldn’t survive without strong spousal support, so earn some brownie points by thanking them in an appreciative group setting. (And giving them a nice lunch at Mille’s!)
– A referral partner, a mentor, the person who introduced you to BNI, your mother — the list of possibilities is large, so choose one and bring them to our special meeting. You’re only limited by your imagination!
We had a terrific year, and demolished our SMM goal, and we really want to give some credit where credit is due, above and beyond all of our terrific members who made it all happen. And in doing so, we’ll be able to take advantage one last time to show off how well we’ve done, and demonstrate what BNI can do for anyone’s business.
We won’t be running our regular meeting, but we WILL want to do our usual bang-up job of passing referrals and giving testimonials. Mille’s will be serving up something extra nice that day, and each member can bring one guest for lunch (on us). Above all, we want a packed house, so I certainly hope that everyone will show up with a visitor on their arm!
Do your best to get your visitor registered in the system before the meeting, so we’ll have an idea of who to expect. And one last note: This will be the final meeting for our outgoing leadership team, so let’s do it right and send them out in style!
