Business Power Network, BNI: This is the group I chose simply because I connected with their relaxed, fun-loving personalities, yet in the midst of their fun they are very serious about what they do and a very helpful bunch of people. Life gets a little crazy and frustrating for us all and I fought the thought of joining a BNI group for several months, after purchasing PostNet a year ago this month. I had 28 years experience working with businesses one-on-one but not getting up and speaking to a group. I used every excuse possible but still I knew I needed a way to reach more businesses and get to know the people in Springfield as quick as possible, so here I am in BNI. It’s not only helped our business, but also helped me with speaking in a group situation. If you make a mistake, we laugh together and learn together. We’re a team, working for the same goals of building our businesses the best way possible. What better way than to join our BPN! By the way… I will never like public speaking!
