Joshua Jones might seem a bit young to be the president of Linda’s Flowers/Karl’s Tuxedos/MK Bridal, Springfield’s premier floral and special event shop, but don’t let his age fool you. Though he is a third generation floral designer, he is blazing his own trail in the industry and taking the family business to the next level. He has studied European design and Asian influence, as well as modern floral design, extensively. These influences give him a unique, innovative edge in the Springfield floral market.
Josh married his high school sweetheart, Katelyn Brownwood, and he and his lovely wife enjoy parenting their teacup Yorkie, Lyla. In his spare time, he enjoys restoring his classic ’69 Nova. Josh also is determined to make a difference in his community. After finding his love for flowers and floral design ten years ago, Josh trained under his father, Karl, in the business that his grandmother, Linda Jones, founded in 1976.
Linda’s Flowers has the largest selection of fresh flowers in the area, with some of the top floral designers. They are a Teleflora and FTD-equipped florist, delivering local and nationwide. However, fresh flowers are just part of what they do. Linda’s also offers green plants, blooming plants, dish gardens, snack baskets, balloon bouquets, gourmet baskets, designer vases, plush animals, and plenty of delicious goodies.
